About this artwork
"Furnace №2" is a watercolor sheet from the series "Kuzbass Industrial", which I created in 1984. This picture depicts the process of casting and transporting metal in trolleys. I want to note that this work was written directly on the spot, from nature. It was very dangerous to work in hot workshops because of the high temperatures, so I was not allowed to go inside.
